Diamond wire saw DWS.250E

The diamond wire saw DWS.250E (endless) is a one-way table saw in vertical design.

The maximum workpiece cutting area is 250x250 mm. Diamond wire loops with a length of 2000 mm and thicknesses from 0.35 to 0.80 mm are used. The continuously adjustable wire speed goes from 4 to 12 m/s. To ensure a constant cutting pressure, the feed is done by gravity. Workpieces can be cut both wet and dry.

The DWS.250E is equipped with an operator-guided, ergonomically visible touch control. There is currently a choice of six languages (DE-EN-FR-ES-JP-CN). The industrial-grade drive and control technology ensures robust and precise operation. The built-in sensor system for end of cut, open hood or, if necessary, wire breakage ensures safety. The precision saw is made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum.

Rotary unit DE.130

If you need cutting surfaces with minimum roughness and flatness, you can't do without the DE.130 turning unit. During the sawing process, the workpiece, which is held in a four-jaw chuck, rotates at the same time. The turning unit can be adjusted by hand in the X direction with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. A digital scale shows the current positions. Parts from 5 to 130 mm outside diameter can be clamped and separated with the turning unit. Even the smallest groove recesses can be produced with the DE.130. The unit is mounted on the grooving table. The speed is infinitely variable.

Workpieces can be clamped and machined horizontally or vertically on this clamping unit equipped with grooves. The clamping unit can be fed in the X direction with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. A digital scale shows the current position.

This slotted machine vice has a quick clamping system. It is aligned on the slot table so that the diamond wire enters the vise slot and saws through or into the clamped part. Both sides of the workpiece are held in the process. The maximum clamping travel is 150 mm. The lightweight vise is made of anodized aluminum.

This clamping block set can be used to clamp round and square as well as small and large parts (up to 110 x 110 mm). It is mounted directly on the slot table. The two clamping jaws can be moved independently of each other on the entire slot table. The SB-60 set is also used to hold all specimen holders, which can be fed with the optional built-in micrometer with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The clamping block set is made of anodized aluminum, the clamping surfaces are made of stainless steel.

Side sample carrier SPT

This side sample carrier is used for direct mounting of specimens or our various carrier discs (TS.X), onto which the smallest specimens can be glued. The SPT.30/80 can be used to clamp cylindrical specimens from 30 to 80 mm but also non-shaped specimens up to 90x90 mm. The side sample carrier is part of the standard equipment of the DWS.100. It is optionally available in conjunction with the SB.60 clamping block set and the SE.XXX clamping unit.

This heating plate is used for melting wax, which is used for easy and detachable mounting of your samples on our carrier disks TS. The heating surface is 18x18 cm, the max. adjustable temperature is 300°C.

Special wax SW.4

With this special wax, samples can be easily and detachably bonded to our carrier discs TS. The carrier disc is heated on a heating plate and the wax is melted on it at approx. 70°C. The samples is then pressed into the liquid wax and allowed to cool. The sample is then pressed into the liquid wax and allowed to cool. The wax holding force is quite sufficient for a diamond wire cut.

This cutting fluid is a concentrate without hazardous substances and biodegradable. An addition of 3-5% in the water avoids the corroding of the sample to be machined, e.g. made of steel, and prevents the material abrasion from sticking to the diamond wire.
